Dear Patients and Families,
It has been an incredible honor to serve this community as a pediatric orthopedic surgeon, caring for so many wonderful families. My dedication to providing the highest quality care has always been my guiding principle. With that in mind, I am thrilled to share that I will soon embark on an advanced fellowship in spine surgery. This unique opportunity will allow me to expand my expertise in treating spinal conditions across all age groups, from children to adults. My training will focus on innovative techniques, including minimally invasive spine surgery and complex deformity corrections, such as scoliosis.
The field of spine surgery has its foundation in the study of pediatric spinal conditions, which have greatly shaped our understanding of the spine. However, as technologies evolve and subspecialization increases, gaps have emerged between the approaches and skill sets of modern pediatric and adult spine surgeons.
To best serve my patients, I believe it is essential to bridge these gaps. By dedicating myself to mastering a truly comprehensive knowledge base and surgical skill set, I aim to provide my patients with a fully customized treatment approach—one without limitations and tailored to each individual's unique needs.
To stay connected during this transition, I invite you to visit my website, where you can follow my career updates and future practice location. On my site, you’ll also find a patient intake form. If you have questions or need guidance in finding the right provider for your care during my fellowship, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I am committed to ensuring a smooth transition for your care, and if appropriate, I look forward to resuming your care after my fellowship.
While I may not be able to directly oversee your care during my fellowship, I remain committed to supporting you in finding the best provider for your needs. Please stay tuned for updates, which I will announce upon the completion of my fellowship.
Thank you for trusting me with your care and for being part of this journey. I look forward to staying in touch and continuing to support you in any way I can.
Warm regards,
Aaron Wey, MD
